When I was a child, I dreamed of ubiquitous photography.
From the day I picked up a camera I had a hope that one day everything could be photographed. Not just all subject matter, but in every permutation imaginable: focal length, distance, from the nothingness of overexposing the subject by a million seconds to the pure blackness of a sensor barely catching a glimpse. This idea arose from a desire to find beauty everywhere, to capture moments so fleeting that one could only experience them through my system. I dreamed of micro-expressions being captured that told a story, angles unachievable by a person taken advantage of, and private moments being celebrated and shared.
Looking back now, I can’t believe how naÏve I was.
